David Larney (Partner) has specialised in property and commercial law since his qualification as a solicitor in 1984. His corporate and private clients include some of Ireland’s leading banks, property developers, property investors, hoteliers and estate agents. He advises them on property issues such as mergers and acquisitions, commercial leases, share purchase agreements and the regulatory, taxation and commercial factors which impact on those transactions.
Because of his breadth of experience in this area, David is frequently called upon to give evidence as an expert witness in the High Court and to arbitrate on disputes of a property and commercial nature. He has lectured and tutored in the Law Society on property law.
David holds an Honours Diploma in European Community Law, is a fluent Spanish speaker and has a working knowledge of French. He is a member of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association and is a past president of the St Mary’s College Past Pupils Union.
