Frank Murphy is head of the firm’s Commercial and Intellectual Property team.
Frank qualified as a solicitor in 1971, and has extensive experience in commercial
and media/entertainment law, including the music, film, and television industries as
well as theatre. He advises a wide range of established artists, writers, producers,
record companies and managers.
With over twenty years experience in the negotiation of recording and publishing contracts,
management contracts, licensing agreements, chartered merchandising and brand exploitation,
he is recognised as an expert in these complex legal areas.
Frank has extensive experience in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution and is a
Board Member of the Arbitration of International Disputes Limited, a Member of the Chartered
Institute of Arbitrators, the Dublin Chamber of Commerce, and the American Chamber of Commerce
in Ireland.
